The Key Management Server (KMS) service is offered to CalNetAD campus customers to activate current versions of Windows and Office.

The KMS service will activate the following x86 or x64 versions of Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008(R2), Server 2012, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10:

  • Windows Vista Business Edition
  • Windows Vista Enterprise Edition
  • Windows 7 Business Edition
  • Windows 7 Enterprise Edition
  • Windows Server 2008(R2) Standard Edition
  • Windows Server 2008(R2) Enterprise Edition
  • Windows Server 2012 (R2) Standard Edition
  • Windows Server 2012 (R2) Enterprise Edition
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 10

The KMS service will activate the following versions of Office:

  • Office 2010
  • Office 2015
  • Office 2016
